Chapter 1283: The Deal Maker.

While he was making deals with the Dao Lords, he used it as an opportunity to learn about the ancient cultivation system and successfully borrowed their divine beings. So it was a scheme that killed two birds with one stone.

With Heavenly Eye, he killed three birds with one stone. With one Major Supreme Metac, he got a Minor Supreme Metac he didn’t have, borrowed her divine beings, and learned a lot about the ancient cultivation system.

However, his plan hit a slight snag. Of the six Dao Lords, Martial Will refused to make a deal with him. When Loki asked the Dao Lord of the Martial Body Sect to take a bribe not to expose his scams, Martial Will said, "I don’t like using the scheme of cowards, so I won’t expose your scams if I see it."

Snorting in disdain, Martial Will said, "I don’t think your scam will work anyway. After a while, everyone, even the mortals, will know that you’re full of shit. After a while, your promise to increase their lifespan will unravel for the lie it was, and your sect will crumble."

And when Loki asked to borrow his divine beings for a fee, Martial Will said, "Never mind that. I’ll tell my disciples about it. They like fighting, so they will join without being forced. As long as you promise not to endanger or neglect them intentionally, I will lend them to you."

So Loki said, "Don’t you have any Supreme Metacs you’re not using? Now is the chance to exchange them for something better."

From his experience in the previous timeline, he knew that Martial possessed the Blood Supreme Metac and couldn’t use it. In the first timeline, when he sold Supreme Metacs to Dao Lords, Martial Will had exchanged the Blood Supreme Metac with Heavenly Eye for the Berserker Supreme Metac and a promise of her help.

But now, Martial Will said to him, "I don’t have any Supreme Metac I’m not using."

When Loki heard this, he knew that something was going on. He thought, ’Either Martial Will is lying and doesn’t want to make a deal with me, or something had happened to the Blood Supreme Metac.’

’Considering how he hadn’t been able to use the Blood Supreme Metac for so long and refused to make a deal with me now three times in a row, he must be lying.’

’So does he suspect something?’ he thought with a smile on his face. ’How interesting.’

’Well, it doesn’t matter now. My business here is done. Let the show begin,’ he thought, his smile turning into a grin.

As he grinned, his true body tore open a rift in the sky and sent down a projection of a star with a phantom black seal. The projection was for his second pathway.

The Will of the Blessed Heaven World accepted the projection and anchored it to the divine constellation. Because of this, his Domain in the Blessed Heaven World began to expand, on its way to doubling in size.

This development rightfully turned the divine constellation alight with curiosity. Nearly everyone had something to say about the matter.

"So you’re a Mountain Lord and have two Cosmic Daos. It looks like everything is going well for you," Heavenly Eye said with naked jealousy.

Loki, on his part, sighed and said, "You keep saying I’m a Mountain Lord. I don’t see how you came to that conclusion."

"As for the second Cosmic Dao, I was just lucky. It was just luck," he insisted to everyone who pointed it out.

For a while, he entertained their question peacefully. He did nothing out of the ordinary as he waited for his Domain to finish growing.

Once his Domain on the Blessed Heaven World finished expanding and doubled in size, he used the newfound power to challenge the other super worlds.

He challenged Alpha Peak next. As usual, some of the Dao Lords told the Will not to let him establish his Domain. In fact, nearly every Dao Lord encouraged the Will to kill him, not just Tepid Scholar like last time.

It had happened before, so he expected the resistance. Unfortunately, his power was not strong enough to defeat Alpha Peak’s Will. So the Will bound him and beat him up.

But Alpha Peak’s Will quickly realized he was a tough nut to crack. He could take a lot of beatings and could dish out 35 times as many beatings as he could take with each blow. In a few seconds, the Will of Alpha Peak capitulated and let him build his Domain.

This was how the subsequent fights with the super worlds went. They all surrendered and let him have his way with them. And because he was stronger now, they gave up in record time.

Only the Wandering Thieves’ super world didn’t resist him. Wandering Thief allowed him to establish his Domain without a fight, all while laughing and mocking the other Dao Lords.

As he was setting up his Domain on the fifth super world, he thought, ’Note to self: Wandering Thief possesses the Freedom Pathway. So don’t trust any oath he makes.’

He knew what he had been doing with the Freedom Supreme Metac, and he couldn’t trust Wandering Thief not to do the same thing.

He thought about his plans as he rushed to Heavenly Eye’s hidden large worlds. As soon as he found the first one, he gently encouraged it to become a super world.

His actions didn’t escape Heavenly Eye’s notice, though. She noticed immediately and grew angry.

"That son of a bitch. To think I once thought he was a reasonable person," she said, gritting her teeth and her eyes spitting fire.

Her voice was full of spite and a lust for blood as she said, "This means war. And it is war that I must win."

Without wasting time, she ordered the other two large worlds to break through. Then she established her Domain on the two of them.
